
PĂŁo de Deus Cake - Gluten-free, egg-free, dairy-free
This is the Fidu God Bread Cake version, with a healthy frosting with no added sugar, free from the 14 main allergens and vegan.
It doesn't take eggs or milk and it's gluten free!
This recipe is so easy to make and so deliciousđ€€!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 pack of Prepared for Traditional Fidu Cake 500g
- 200g pineapple
- 80g grated coconut
- 20g Fidu corn starch
- 60ml of vegetable oil
- 340ml of water
PREPARATION:
- Preheat the oven to 170ÂșC.
- Pour the contents of the Traditional Cake Prep package into a bowl.
- Add 60ml of vegetable oil. Stir until you get a sandy-looking mixture.
- Add 340ml of water. Mix with a wire whisk or electric mixer, until obtaining a homogeneous cream with air bubbles.
- Pour the dough into a previously greased or lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for about 35 minutes (cooking time may vary depending on the type and size of the pan and the type of oven used). Check that the cake is cooked with the help of a toothpick.
- Remove the cake from the oven, unmold after a few minutes and let it cool.
- To prepare the topping, cut the pineapple into small pieces and mash it until it becomes a puree.
- Add the coconut and starch and mix well.
- Pour into a pan, heat over low heat and mix well until smooth.
- Decorate the top of the cake with the pineapple and coconut puree.
- Bake in the oven at 210ÂșC with only the heat on top for 5 minutes to brown the topping.
It's going to be hard to resist the fresh aroma of pineapple with the coconut just out of the oven!
